Migration FAQ

Existing User?

Your level stays. Your RSNC comes back.
Your roles, your perks, your progress — all preserved.

We're switching to a bounty-pool + Kitchen meta-game model. The migration is no-loss, generous, and one-way: every existing user is at least as well off after as before.

Status — May 15, 2026

Phase 1 is live. Phase 2 is queued.

Phase 1 — shipped
  • Production reward-distribution bugs patched (per-event dedup, cap aggregation across tier rules, EOA attribution for SCW callers)
  • 11 contract-event monitoring rules audited and locked to tx_origin attribution
  • 2.33M RSNC clawed back from unmapped smart-contract wallets
  • 35,642 RSNC pro-rata refunded on-chain to 15 users with active perk-effect timers
  • Public site rebranded — meta-game layer framing replaces loyalty platform
  • Tune-In V2 migration built end-to-end: AS-fed leveling curve, level floor, full RSNC mint-back, no-revoke role audit (snapshot locked, mint operator-gated)
Phase 2 — queued
  • Operator-gated mint-back: 2.28M RSNC minted to 80 users with historical Tune-In burns
  • Bounty-pool economy live: per-event RSNC stops, AS-per-event starts, weekly settlements per brand
  • Quest Packs: brand-authored event loadouts that gate non-core event types
  • Kitchen v2 launch: harvest area, cooking area, equipment rack, mailbox, recipes, salvage
  • Pay-or-Play parity: USDSC alternative on every RSNC spend at 1:1000 (Tune-In discount RSNC-side only)
  • Perks marketplace relaunch under the Producer / Equipment / Recipe taxonomy

The four reassurances.

Your Tune-In level

Floor at current. No down-migration.

L10 stays L10. L32 stays L32. The new AS-fed leveling system starts FROM your current level — never below it. New AS you earn after cutover only adds.

If your AS recompute would put you at L8 but you're currently L15, you stay L15 and accumulate AS toward L16 from there.

Your RSNC burns

Full mint-back. No pro-rate. No condition.

Every RSNC you ever burned for Tune-In tuning is being minted back to your wallet at cutover. We summed every historical burn per user and the full amount returns via PointsSale.mintConversionsForCreator.

Thank-you for paying into a system that's now free.

Your Discord roles

Preserved. No revocation.

Every role assignment you currently hold stays. New tiers grant on top as you climb via AS — they never take old ones away. If you have a role that came from a Tune-In threshold, it stays even if the threshold formula changes.

Your perks

Carried forward.

Every perk in your inventory stays. Active deactivated perks remain in your history. Kitchen v2 reads the same `user_perk_tokens` table — your owned items become assignable to producer / equipment slots in the new system.

Active perk-effect timers (charge packs, amplifiers): pro-rata RSNC refund based on hours remaining. 50% time left = 50% RSNC price refunded.

What's new
  • Activity Score (AS) is the new per-event metric. RSNC is no longer emitted per event; it's distributed weekly from each brand's bounty pool to leaderboard finishers.
  • Tune-In is now AS-fed. No RSNC burn required.
  • The Kitchen meta-game is the new RSNC sink: producers, equipment, recipes, forge fees, slot expansion, paid mailbox rolls.
  • 1 USDSC = 1000 RSNC parity, anywhere RSNC is spent.
What's not changing
  • Your wallet, your Privy account, your linked Discord/Telegram identities.
  • Your Streak counter.
  • Your Forge avatars and gear (already permanent ERC-721s and badges).
  • Your Signal Subscription benefits — current discounts preserved, plus new perks (extra producer slot, mailbox priority, Quest Pack discovery feed).
  • The RSNC token itself — same contract, same address. V1 RSNC carries forward as the same token.

Detailed FAQ

Specifics on the cutover script, refund timing, and account-level questions.

No. The migration is no-loss by design. Every user is at least as well off after as before.
Because the new system is free. We owed it to early supporters who paid in.
You get the higher level. Floor is the worse-case guarantee, not a cap.
Pro-rata RSNC refund based on hours remaining at cutover. The snapshot table `perk_effect_pivot_snapshot_2026_05_15` is the source of truth for refund amounts.
Date will be announced via the server channel and pinned in #announcements ahead of time. Plan for a 1–2 hour quiet period during the migration script run.
No action needed. Mint-back, level floor, and role preservation all happen automatically. The first time you check your balance after cutover, the RSNC will be there.
Open a ticket in #support or post in the server channel. We'll have the migration audit logs available for any account-level question.
