How the grant works: Once your account is live and you've created a perk, we load 5M RSNC directly to your brand. Your community members start earning immediately. No Stripe deposit needed for the grant — you only pay if you want to top up later.

Phase 0

Create Your Account

1

Sign up at the Partner Portal

Go to partners.rsnc.network and create your account. Authentication is handled by Privy — no passwords, no wallets, no crypto setup.
2

Complete your brand profile

Fill in your brand name, description, contact email, website, and upload a logo. This is what users see when they discover your community in the Resonance network.

Once you save your profile, your Security Key is auto-generated.

3

Copy your Brand ID and Security Key

Navigate to Account (top nav) to find your Brand ID (wallet address). Open the Settings modal to copy your Security Key. Both have easy-copy buttons. You'll need these for Discord setup.

Keep your Security Key private. It authenticates your bot to the Resonance network. Don't share it in public channels.

Phase 1

Add Resonance to Discord

1

Invite the bot

Click the invite link below (also available at partners.rsnc.network). Select your server from the dropdown. Grant the requested permissions.

2

Run the setup command

In any channel where the bot is active, run:

/setup brand_id: YOUR_BRAND_ID security_key: YOUR_SECURITY_KEY

Paste the Brand ID and Security Key you copied from the Partner Portal. The bot will confirm the connection.

3

Verify the connection

The bot should respond with a confirmation message showing your brand name and active status. If you see an error, double-check that your Security Key matches exactly (no trailing spaces).
That's it. Your Discord is now connected to the Resonance network. Basic earning events (daily check-in, messaging, reactions) come pre-loaded. Members start earning RSNC immediately.

Phase 2

Configure Events & Rewards

Events define what actions earn RSNC. Basic events are pre-loaded. You can customize or add more from the Partner Portal or directly in Discord.

Pre-Loaded Events

EventDefault RSNC% of Daily BudgetNotes
Daily check-in~2525%Triggered by "gm" or "gn" in chat — once per day per user
Message sent~5/message60%Cooldown between qualifying messages; rewards meaningful conversation
Reaction given~3/reaction15%Daily cap applies; encourages engagement with others' content
Design principle: Weight rewards toward meaningful engagement, not passive actions. At conservative settings, a user who shows up and says "gm" earns 25 RSNC. A user who participates in conversations all day earns closer to 100. The system rewards care, not just presence.

Additional Events You Can Enable

EventSuggested RSNCNotes
Voice channel time~5–10/intervalRewards active voice participation
Streak bonusesMultiplierConsecutive daily check-ins boost earnings
Referrals~50–200Member invites verified new user
Role-based bonusesMultiplierSpecific roles earn more per action
Custom eventsYou defineContests, polls, AMAs, anything

Configure events in the Partner Portal under Reward → Events, or use Discord admin commands. Full command reference: docs.rsnc.network/discord/admin-guides/commands-reference

Emission guidance for Season 8: At conservative settings (~100 RSNC/user/day), your 5M grant lasts the full 28-day season. At balanced settings (~200 RSNC/user/day), it depletes around Day 14–18 — at which point you can top up at your locked-in 20% discount. Start conservative, dial up as engagement grows.

Building a Program That Works

Reward Design Tips

Most communities haven't built a loyalty program before. Here's what we've learned — and what the best programs in the industry get right.

Reward engagement depth, not just presence

It's tempting to reward every action equally. Don't. A user who says "gm" and leaves contributed less than a user who answered someone's question, reacted to five posts, and spent 30 minutes in voice. Your reward weighting should reflect that. The default 25/60/15 split (check-in / messaging / reactions) exists for this reason — it makes conversation the highest-earning activity because conversation is what builds community.

Ask yourself: If someone earns the maximum RSNC today, did they actually make the community better? If yes, your weights are right.

Don't subsidize behavior that was already happening

The biggest mistake in loyalty program design is rewarding people for doing what they'd do anyway. If your most active members were already chatting every day, handing them RSNC for it is a cost with no behavioral lift. The goal is to move the middle — the members who lurk, who visit occasionally, who haven't found a reason to participate yet. Design events that give those people a reason to take the next step.

A useful thought exercise: what would happen if you turned the program off tomorrow? If nothing would change, you're subsidizing existing behavior. If participation would drop, you're actually driving engagement.

Build a progression, not a flat reward

The best programs feel like a journey. A new member should have a clear first action (say gm, earn their first RSNC), then a next step (join a conversation), then a milestone (hit a streak, unlock a perk). Don't dump every event on users at once. Start simple, add depth over time.

Member StageWhat They NeedProgram Design
New / LurkerLow-friction first winDaily check-in earns RSNC instantly. No barrier to entry.
CasualReason to come backStreaks reward consistency. Miss a day, multiplier resets.
ActiveRecognition for contributionMessaging and reactions earn the most. Quality participation = higher rewards.
Core / LoyalistStatus and ownershipRole-based bonuses, exclusive perks, referral rewards. They become the signal.

Streaks are your most powerful tool

A streak multiplier does more for retention than any single reward amount. It creates a psychological cost to leaving — "I've checked in 14 days straight, I don't want to lose my streak." Use them. The users who build long streaks are the ones converting from farmers to loyal members.

Create perks that matter to your community

A perk nobody wants is worse than no perk at all. Think about what your members actually value — it's usually access, recognition, or status, not discounts on things they don't need. The best-performing perks are community-specific: an exclusive role that unlocks a private channel, early access to an announcement, a 1-on-1 with a founder. Things money can't normally buy.

The real test: Would a member tell a friend about this perk? If the answer is yes, you've built something that drives organic growth.

Watch for the mid-season conversion moment

Around Day 14–18 at balanced emission, your grant starts running low. This is the most important moment of the season. You now have two weeks of engagement data: who's active, what events drive participation, which members are building streaks. This is when you decide whether to top up. The data makes the decision easy. If engagement spiked, the 20% discount makes continuing a no-brainer.

Measure what matters

Don't just track "RSNC distributed." Track what changed because of it.

MetricWhat It Tells You
Daily active participants (before vs. after)Did the program bring people back who weren't showing up?
Message volume from non-core membersAre lurkers converting to contributors?
Streak length distributionHow deep is the habit forming?
Perk redemption rateAre the rewards compelling enough to drive action?
Retention at Day 14 vs. Day 1Are people staying, or did they farm and leave?
The uncomfortable question every program should answer: Is the program changing behavior, or just rewarding behavior that was already happening? Your Stats dashboard in the Partner Portal gives you before-and-after comparisons to start answering this honestly.

Phase 3

Create Your Perk

Every Genesis Kickstart community creates at least one perk. This is what makes the network real — users earn in your server and redeem across the ecosystem. Perks live on perks.rsnc.network.

1

Go to Partner Portal → Redeem → Create Perks

The Perk Creation Wizard walks you through it. Define the perk name, description, RSNC cost, and any limits (total supply, per-user cap, expiration if applicable).
2

Choose a perk type

These cost your community nothing to create. The value is in the network effect — every perk added makes the marketplace more attractive.

Discord Role

Exclusive role with channel access (e.g., "Soneium Loyalist")

Early Access

24hr early announcements, alpha, or priority info

Community Spotlight

Featured member of the week recognition

Whitelist / Priority

Priority access to future drops or events

Custom NFT

3

Publish and verify

Once published, your perk appears on perks.rsnc.network. Verify it shows correctly. Users across the entire Resonance network can now discover and redeem it.
Once your perk is live, we load your 5M RSNC grant. Your community is fully operational — members earn, the perk marketplace is live, and Season 8 farmers can find you.

Phase 4

Elevate Your Program

You're live. Here's how to go from operational to high-performing.

Monitor & Adjust

Use the Partner Portal Stats dashboard to track rewards distributed, active users, perk redemptions, and engagement trends. Full analytics guide: docs.rsnc.network/discord/admin-guides/analytics

Top Up When Ready

When your grant runs low, purchase additional RSNC at your permanent 20% discount ($0.80 per 1,000 RSNC) through the Partner Portal under Deposit Funds. Stripe handles everything — standard currency, no crypto.

The network effect: Every community that joins makes every other community's rewards more valuable. Your members earn from you and redeem with others. Their members earn from them and redeem with you. The ecosystem grows itself.
